I wrote this song for a Songwriters-In-The-Round event to which I was invited in November 2013. Every month the audience chooses a prompt for a song challenge, and the following month the participants write a song based on that prompt, for one of the rounds. For that month the prompt was “Autumn Leaves”
This song received Honorable Mention in the May/June 2014 American Songwriter Lyric Contest.
